The Ugine-Savoie plant of SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH was among the first specialty steel long products producers in the world to achieve certification to ISO/TS 16949 certification, and ISO 14001.

Downstream capabilities include advanced processing technology in bar products, which transforms our upstream products at Trafilerie Bedini that is located near Milan, Italy. Bedini provides special steel solutions for bar products including hex, square and octagon shapes; bars in very small diameters; bars with precise magnetic properties; and for applications requiring special finishes and tolerances.
